You can now create zone-based plies and cores directly in the Composite Design environment. Whether you prefer to create each zone-based ply or core individually, or use the “Plies From Zones” tool for batch creation, this new functionality provides flexibility in your design process.

When a zone contour is modified, the associated zone-based plies and cores will automatically update to reflect the change.

User Interface Location: In the Composite Design environment, click  Ply. Under Type, select  Zone Based Ply.

This enhancement enables you to define a top-down composite design using zones, plies, and cores, providing improved organization and structure.
