Watch a video that demonstrates this enhancement:

What is the benefit of this enhancement?
HDRI images imported into Creo Parametric are now automatically adjusted with a defined gamma value to enhance their display, with a default gamma of 2.2. This adjustment is supported in both Shading With Reflections mode and Creo Render Studio. The new configuration option enable_gamma_correction allows you to control automatic gamma correction for HDRI images.

You can also source free HDRI images from Poly Haven – HDRI.

This enhancement is particularly useful when creating renderings in Creo Parametric and importing HDRI images that match the model’s environment. Previously, you needed to manually tweak the HDRI lighting to display correctly in Creo Parametric.

With this improvement, imported HDRI images display more realistically, reducing the need to adjust lighting values in external applications.
