See the video on the Learning Connector
Description
In Creo Parametric, the MAX_CORNER_RADIUS parameter creates a radius on the internal corners of the toolpath in a Geodesic HSM sequence.
This enhancement allows you to define the maximum arc radius used to smooth toolpath corners. If the specified value is too large, the toolpath may leave material uncut at the corners. To prevent this, the algorithm evaluates the user-defined value and automatically reduces the maximum radius to ensure all surfaces are fully machined without leaving any uncut material.

Benefits
This enhancement provides the following benefits:
- More flexibility to adjust a Geodesic finish for surface quality
- Better control to reach higher cutting speeds and feeds
- Embedded checks to reach all machining surfaces
Additional Information
| Tips: | The user-specified maximum radius serves as guidance. The final value applied is automatically determined by the algorithm. |
| Limitations: | No known limitations. |
| Does this replace existing functionality? | No. |
| Configuration option associated with this functionality: | None. |
