With the new Core Sample command, you can analyze the laminate and obtain a list of local laminate objects at a selected datum point location
When you create a core sample feature, it provides two parameters to report the total sampled thickness and the number of sampled laminate objects, in addition to the list of local laminate objects.

You can also add a note to the core sample feature, allowing the list of local laminate objects to be displayed in the graphics window and in the ply book drawing.

Additionally, by using the Thickness parameter, you can perform a user-defined analysis (UDA) to generate a color plot of the laminate thickness on the layup surface.
