The Draping Algorithm Enhancements now allow you to perform draping simulations on ply shapes that were previously unsupported. These updates also enable the generation of improved flat patterns for more accurate designs.

With these enhancements, you can:

  • Select a seed point location where the fixed warp or weft fiber enters and exits the ply boundary multiple times.
  • Use the Draping Refinement option to enhance results for small plies on large layup surfaces.

User Interface Location: In the Composite Design environment, Click  Draping Simulation.
