Track and Optimize Regeneration Performance in Creo 11

With Creo 11, you can now use the Performance Report tool to analyze part and assembly regeneration times in detail. By clicking Compute, the active part or assembly is fully regenerated, and the regeneration times are reported.

Creo Parametric 11.0.0.0

User Interface Location: Click Tools > Investigate >  Performance Report.

Key Features of the Performance Report:

  • Detailed Regeneration Times: Components and features are listed by regeneration time, making it easy to identify bottlenecks at the top of the list.
  • Structured and Flat Views:
    • Structured View: Displays sub-assemblies and parts, which can be expanded to show their content.
    • Flat List View: Provides an overview of each feature, part, and component.
  • Searchable Reports: Both views can be searched for specific elements.
  • Statistics Tab: Offers a summary of relevant performance data.

This tool helps you understand the contribution of each feature and component to overall regeneration performance, making it easier to identify and address bottlenecks to improve design efficiency.

Key Benefits:

  • Gain insights into regeneration performance at the part and assembly level.
  • Quickly identify performance bottlenecks and address them for better efficiency.
  • Improve design productivity by optimizing regeneration times.

Additional Information:

Limitations:

  • Only regeneration preparation and actual regeneration times are reported; post-regeneration processes are not included.
  • Regeneration times depend on system performance and may vary based on other running processes.
  • Simplified representations and certain flexible components are not yet supported.

Does This Replace Existing Functionality? No.
