A new Precision option is now available for stock models, offering four distinct precision settings:

  • Automatic
  • High
  • Medium
  • Low

These settings enable enhanced control over stock model creation, allowing users to tailor precision based on specific machining requirements.

User Interface Location:

1.In Manufacturing, click Manufacturing >  Stock Model on the Mill tab, Turn tab, or Wire EDM tab.

2.Select the Options tab.

Key Benefits

  • Greater Control: Fine-tune the precision of stock models to meet varying needs.
  • Improved Flexibility: Choose precision settings that align with simulation and machining goals.

Additional Details

  • Tips: When selecting Automatic, the precision settings are loaded from the default mw_settings.xml file. Any updates to the precision settings in this file for material removal simulations will automatically apply to the stock model.
  • Limitations: None reported.
  • Does it replace existing functionality? No.
  • Configuration Options Required: None.
