The newest version of PTC’s flagship CAD software – PTC Creo 3.0 – was unveiled yesterday at PTC Live Global in Boston, MA — and there’s no shortage of new features for users to get excited about.
The latest release offers improvements which will make users more productive, such as:
New multi-CAD data handling capabilities
As well as being able to import neutral file formats (e.g., STEP, IGES, DXF, etc.) directly into PTC Creo Parametric, users can now both import and open CATIA, SolidWorks, and Siemens NXTM files without the need for a separate translator or access to the native authoring software.
