See the video on the Learning Connector
Description
The display of quilt labels and the visibility control for quilts in the Model Tree have been enhanced to improve overall usability.
The new enhancements indicate a link between the quilt and the feature that created the quilt, including:
- Enhanced Quilt Label
- The quilt label displays the name of the owner feature (the feature that created the quilt) in parentheses, providing a clear visual link between the quilt and its originating feature.
- Visibility Control
- For features that create a single quilt, the Show, Hide, Show Only, and Show All Except affect both the quilt and the related feature.
- Hiding or showing a quilt also hides or shows the feature.
- Hiding or showing the feature also hides or shows the quilt.
The quilt label update, displaying the feature name, is shown in the following image.

Earlier, to display a quilt, it was necessary to verify whether the quilt was hidden because of the feature’s visibility state, the quilt’s own visibility state, or a combination of both.
Benefits
These improvements provide a better user experience when managing and controlling quilt visibility in the Model Tree.
