What is the benefit of this enhancement?
PTC has implemented a strict Security Policy for all Creo products to evaluate potential security vulnerabilities. Through regular monitoring using industry-standard tools, PTC works with its extended development team and partners to continuously update open-source and proprietary code to the latest versions. This ensures a secure environment in accordance with the PTC Security Policy. Updates include images, libraries, and systems.

Some of these updates include:

  • Updating all open-source components and vulnerable DLLs
  • Updating Rhino libraries to open NURBS 7 to support reading Rhino 6 and 7 files
  • Updating JT libraries to support JT 10.6 file format, including Smart Topology Table (STT) support

This enhancement ensures support for the latest versions of several components, addressing potential security vulnerabilities present in older versions.
