What is the benefit of this enhancement?
For structural optimizations in Creo, you can now choose a design goal that minimizes mass while meeting a specified safety factor limit.

This is useful when you want to generate parts with the minimum mass required to properly support the applied loading conditions. Previously, structural optimizations for generative design could only minimize strain energy at a mass or volume target. The new design goal allows the reverse—minimizing mass while maintaining safety factor requirements. This enables the creation of lightweight parts that still satisfy the specified load conditions.
