Description
Solidification and IML Performance
In the Composite environment, solidification and IML are now significantly improved, providing enhanced robustness, performance, and quality.
Complex composite layups are now solidified with better performance. The geometry of plies above and below cores, as well as the creation of core-taper geometry, is noticeably improved.

Solidification with Drop-off Geometry and Small Radii Handling
When using Composite solidification and IML, ply drop-off geometry can now be included, making the resulting solid a more accurate representation of the laminate design.

Additionally, the solidification process now handles local radii in the layup surface that are smaller than the thickness of the local ply stack-up. These small radii are collapsed into sharp corners. This enhancement works for both constant and variable radii, producing partial sharp corners that automatically transition to the correct local thickness offset.

Benefits
These enhancements improve productivity and user experience by:
- Delivering a more robust, higher quality, and better-performing solidification feature.
- Providing a more accurate representation of the laminate design for the downstream usage.
