Description
You can now create an associative laminate by referencing the layup settings and laminate objects from an existing composite design. This allows you to support manufacturing requirements without altering the source composite design.

When a reference laminate feature is created, only the laminate objects and their properties are copied to the new Composite environment. The design properties and sequence order of the copied laminate objects remain protected. You can remove or add laminate objects as needed.

Manufacturing operations, such as extending and splicing, can be applied to the copied laminate objects without impacting the original composite design. Additionally, all standard composite tools and operations – such as core sampling, draping simulation, solidification, and ply book creation – can be used with the copied laminate objects.

This enhancement enables the creation of a manufacturing reference model from a composite design, improving workflow efficiency and overall productivity.
