User Interface Location: In the Generative Design application, click Study > Thermal Study.

Description
You can now use a Thermal Study within Generative Design in Creo. This is a steady-state thermal study that supports conduction and convection boundary conditions, with the option to suppress the convection boundary condition.
New load types are also available, including heat flow, heat flux, and heat generation loads.
The following new objectives are added for this study:

• Minimize the peak temperature with limit volume
• Minimize mass at the peak temperature

The result probe shows the temperature values.

Benefits
This enhancement expands the analytical capabilities of Generative Design by adding thermal studies, enabling powerful optimizations under thermal conditions. It also allows you to address additional use cases using the new thermal objectives.
