Previously, the drill size of threaded holes was displayed in ASME models, which was not preferred by users. Now, GD&T Advisor supports the removal of drill size indication for threaded holes in ASME models, aligning with the common practice of excluding drill sizes in dimension indications for threaded holes in ASME standards.

  • Limitations: No new limitations.
  • Does this replace existing functionality?: No.
  • Configuration Option: To customize the structure of hole callout dimensions, use the existing option tags in the GDTAAppOptions file. Set the ASME_Thread_as_Primary_Dim option to “yes” in the GDTAAppOptions file. Remember, when this value is set to “yes,” a restart of Creo Parametric is required.
