Creo Parametric 12.4.0.0
User Interface Location: The option can be set in the GDTAAppOptions.xml file.

Description
GD&T Advisor now supports the Show_Flat-to-Screen_Notes option, available in the GDTAAppOptions.xml file. This option allows users and CAD administrators to control the display of flat-to-screen notes generated by GD&T Advisor.

When the option is set to no, GD&T Advisor notes are not displayed on the screen, but the associated parameters are still created. This allows users to reference the information in other annotations. For example, users can use the parameter &GDTA_STANDARD_REF_NOTES to reference the standards applied by GD&T Advisor for the model, such as ASME Y14.5-2018 or ASME Y14.41-2019.

Benefits
This capability allows users to easily manage the visibility of flat-to-screen notes in GD&T Advisor. In many cases, when applying MBD notes, users prefer to follow company-specific note standards. Previously, GD&T Advisor flat-to-screen notes could not be controlled and had to be hidden manually. With the new option, this task is now much simpler.
