The TURN_FOLLOW_TPROF_DIR parameter allows the turn profile direction to control the cut direction in both Area Turning and Groove Turning sequences.

User Interface Location:

•In Manufacturing, click Turn >  Area Turning.

•In Manufacturing, click Turn >  Groove Turning.

Benefits:
This enhancement offers greater flexibility by enabling you to define the direction of the cut, improving the control over machining operations.

Additional Information:

  • Tips:
    If TURN_FOLLOW_TPROF_DIR is set to YES and CUT_DIRECTION is set to REVERSE, the tool will cut in the reverse direction for Groove Turning NC sequences.
  • Limitations: No known limitations.
  • Does this replace existing functionality? No.
