You can now fully lock manikin body part components in both location and orientation, ensuring they remain stationary while you drag and reposition other body parts. Fixed components can still be moved if they are individually selected for dragging.

New glyphs have been added both to the Manikin Tree and the graphics window to visually indicate a fixed component.

User Interface Location: With a manikin on the screen, right-click a body part in the graphics window or on the Manikin Tree, and then click Fix Segment or Unfix Segment.

What’s the Benefit of This Enhancement?
This enhancement is especially useful when you need to keep certain body parts locked in place while working with the rest of the manikin. It provides better control over positioning, making it easier to work with the manikin model.

Prior to this, it wasn’t possible to fix body parts in place during dragging and repositioning.
