The Manikin Reach and Look At dialog boxes have been enhanced with the addition of constraint creation options.
Now, you can add Reach and Look At constraints directly to the Manikin Constraints section in the Manikin Tree. These constraints can be edited within the Manikin Constraints section, and the shortcut menu provides tools to remove or disable a constraint. If a target is unreachable, Creo Parametric will attempt to reach as far as possible and indicate the remaining distance.
User Interface Location: With a manikin on the screen, do one of the following:
•Click Manikin > Reach. The Manikin Reach dialog box opens.

•Click Manikin > Look At. The Look At dialog box opens.

Release: Creo Parametric 9.0.0.0
What’s the Benefit of This Enhancement?
This enhancement is ideal for performing ergonomic studies, assessing the reach of a manikin, or adjusting its posture with Reach or Look At constraints.
Previously, when the distance was too great, it was difficult to reach the target and understand the missing distance. Now, the manikin adjusts its posture to reach as far as possible, while the constraints maintain the correct posture during other operations.

Additional Information:
- Limitations: No known limitations.
- Does this replace existing functionality? No.
