Release: Creo Parametric 9.0.0.0

What’s the Benefit of This Enhancement?

This update simplifies the process of replacing components in assemblies, offering the following advantages:

  • External child references are automatically updated, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.
  • Whether it’s a newer version or an existing copy of a part or assembly, the replacement process is now smooth and intuitive.

In earlier versions, replacing a component with an existing copy required manual updates to maintain references. With this enhancement, the process is automated, saving time and improving accuracy.

Additional Information:

  • Limitations: It is not possible to replace a family table instance with an existing copy.
  • Replacement of Existing Functionality: No.
  • Configuration Options: None required.
