The Advanced Framework Extension (AFX) in Creo has been enhanced with a newly updated AutoUDF user interface, introducing intuitive features to streamline your workflow. New buttons have been added to facilitate the creation, reuse, modification, and deletion of AutoUDF definitions. Additionally, a brand-new dialog box allows you to view and manage existing AutoUDFs effortlessly.
User Interface Location:
In Advanced Framework Design (AFX), click Definition operations. The new buttons are displayed.

Additionally, click Manage AutoUDFs to view and manage existing AutoUDFs.

What’s the Benefit of This Enhancement?
This update brings flexibility and control when working with AutoUDFs in the Framework module. Users can now easily view, update, and modify existing AutoUDF definitions—a significant improvement over previous versions of Creo Parametric, where:
- Viewing existing AutoUDFs within an assembly was not possible.
- Modifying or reusing existing definitions was a challenge.
With this enhancement, working with AutoUDFs in AFX becomes more efficient and user-friendly, enabling you to save time and increase productivity.
