The drawing support for model replace operations and inseparable assemblies has been enhanced, allowing you to retain drawing details for components that are replaced, embedded, or extracted.

Release: Creo Parametric 9.0.0.0

What’s the Benefit of This Enhancement?
Now, when an assembly’s components are replaced, the existing drawing retains all annotations and detailing for the replaced components. For inseparable assemblies, when embedding or extracting components to become inseparable or separable, the assembly’s drawing keeps the detailing of the embedded or extracted components.

This enhancement streamlines the workflow for replace, embed, or extract operations, significantly reducing the time spent on updating drawings when components are modified.
