The Split/Trim operation now offers improved control over appearance propagation, allowing for seamless design consistency:

  • Appearance Propagation from the Splitting Object:
A new option, Copy Surface Appearances, is available for Split/Trim operations that use a Splitting Object. This feature copies surface appearances from the splitting object’s surfaces to the corresponding surfaces of the trimmed or split bodies.

  • Body Appearance Propagation to the New Body:
The new body created during a Split operation inherits the body appearance from the original body. Additionally, any appearance changes will be re-applied during regeneration unless a user-defined appearance is specifically applied to the body. Legacy Split features will be automatically upgraded during Edit Definition.
