Creo introduces a helpful enhancement that allows you to display the component session ID directly in the Model Tree. This feature makes it much easier to identify and manage components when working with assemblies.

User Interface Location: In the Model Tree, click Tree Columns > Info > Session ID.

What’s the Benefit of This Enhancement?

This functionality is particularly valuable when dealing with relations in an assembly where knowing the session ID is crucial. With this enhancement:

  • You can quickly and conveniently view the component session ID in a dedicated Model Tree column.
  • It eliminates the need for cumbersome processes to retrieve session IDs, saving time and improving efficiency.

In earlier versions, accessing the component session ID required extra steps. Now, it’s readily available, streamlining workflows for assembly management and troubleshooting.
