In Creo 11, a new enhancement allows you to manage your mapkeys in a dedicated mapkeys.pro file, instead of storing them within the config.pro file. This change simplifies mapkey management and provides increased flexibility.

Key Features

  • Separate Mapkeys:
Mapkeys are now stored in two separate locations:
    • Admin-level mapkeys are stored in the installation directory.
    • User-level mapkeys are stored in the user settings directory.
  • Two Levels of Mapkeys:
Both user and admin mapkeys are loaded and displayed in the Mapkeys dialog box, grouped by their level.
  • Import/Export Commands:
New commands allow you to save, import, or export mapkeys easily. Options include:
    • Save Changed
    • Save Selected
    • Import
    • Export Selected
    • Export All
