A new “From Pattern” reference option is introduced for Point patterns, allowing you to define a point pattern based on:
- Point patterns
- Coordinate system patterns
- Patterns containing points or coordinate systems

When the patterned geometry doesn’t depend on the leader point/coordinate system, specifying the leader as the alternate origin can be advantageous. For example, in body patterns, you can control the location and orientation of bodies through coordinate systems referenced by the new “From Pattern” option.
This enhancement not only increases design flexibility but also speeds up pattern regeneration. The Point Pattern type within Geometry Pattern offers the full range of regeneration options (Identical, Variable, General) depending on the geometric situation, optimizing pattern performance where applicable.
Benefits:
- Increased design flexibility for patterns referencing points or coordinate systems.
- Easier creation of body patterns by following a pattern of coordinate systems.
