What is the benefit of this enhancement?
Creo now allows you to create profile passes in 3-axis HSM Rough and HSM Rest Rough sequences. This capability also supports cutter compensation on the profile passes, giving you better control over machining accuracy.
Previously, profile passes were not generated for the CONSTANT_LOAD and TYPE_SPIRAL scan types in these sequences. This update removes that limitation and ensures consistent behavior across roughing and rest-roughing workflows.
Overall, this enhancement improves consistency and capability when working with 3-axis HSM roughing strategies, without replacing any existing functionality.

Additional Information
| Tips: | You need to define the LEAD_RADIUS and TANGENT_LEAD_STEP parameters to control the Lead-in and Lead-out for the profile passes and CUTCOM (ON / OFF) and CUTCOM_REGISTER parameters for cutter compensation. The PROF_STOCK_ALLOW parameter must have a value. The default value hyphen (-) indicates that the value is unset. |
| Limitations: | No known limitations. |
| Does this replace existing functionality? | No. |
| Configuration option associated with this functionality: | None. |
