Description
This enhancement expands the support for Box, Lasso, and Trace selection methods when selecting surfaces. These selection methods can now be used in workflows that involve selecting multiple surfaces in collectors that do not support surface sets. Key use cases include:

  • Shell: Remove surfaces
  • Merge: Merge multiple quilts
  • Unify Surfaces: Unify multiple surfaces
  • Copy, Paste: Exclude surfaces and fill holes
  • Annotations
  • Analysis tools in the Inspect Geometry section of the Analysis tab.
  • Unbend or Bend Back, Flatten Form, and selected Flexible Modeling Sheetmetal features.

Previously, in such scenarios, each surface had to be selected individually.
