Previously, it was not possible to easily change the display of geometry representation in Creo Parametric without setting an appearance or changing the system appearances. This enhancement allows you to quickly control the display of representation geometry without setting the defined appearances or appearance states. You can now set the exact transparency value for each control filter or access the transparency slider.

Nice, But what people REALLY want is to be able to have transparent objects in DRAWINGS in non shaded views. PTC community full of conversations about this dating back 20 years. For example a product has door front, but in the front view you want to be able to show details inside with phantom lines or something similar. Not using section views.
