In Creo, the File Open dialog has undergone enhancements to simplify the process of filtering, previewing, selecting, and accessing models. The improvements cover four key aspects:

New Information Column: A new information column type is now included in the detailed view, displaying the file type or application. This provides a clear indication of types such as Parts, Assembly, Neutral Step, Creo View, etc. Users can easily sort the displayed file list by clicking on the column title.

Quick Access Control: Users can utilize the quick access control to filter the displayed lists based on parts, assemblies, drawings, or combinations. These settings are retained throughout the entire session.

Optimized Preview Display: The preview display is embedded in an optimized horizontal layout, allowing for a large and simultaneous display of file, list, and graphical preview.

Recent Directory Listing: The recent directory is now listed under Common Folders, providing access to previously opened files directly from within the dialog.

These enhancements contribute to a more efficient and user-friendly experience when opening files in Creo.
