The new 4-axis rotary roughing and finishing toolpaths are now available in this release, enabling machining that can pass through 360 degrees.

These toolpaths are ideal for screw-type parts, with applications in automotive and oilfield components such as crankshafts, camshafts, and drill heads. Users can define machining areas using controls like Axial containment, Radial containment, and Containment Loops.

Supported tools for these toolpaths include End Mill, Ball Mill, and Bull Nose Mill.

User Interface Location:

•In Manufacturing, click Mill > High Speed Milling >  HSM 4 Axis Rotary Finish.

•In Manufacturing, click Mill > High Speed Milling >  HSM 4 Axis Rotary Rough.
