Have you tried deleting Layup surface features in Creo composite design?

User Interface Location: In the Composite Design environment, right-click a layup surface feature in the Composite Tree.

Description
In the Composite Design environment, the layup surface is now displayed as a feature in the Composite Tree and as a quilt under Setup Items.

With this enhancement, you can right-click the layup surface feature and select Delete to remove the layup surface. Deleting the feature also removes the associated layup surface quilt.

After deleting a layup surface, you can create a new one using the Layup Surface command, allowing you to redefine the layup surface as needed.

Benefits
In addition to redefining a layup surface, you can now delete and recreate it, providing greater flexibility during composite design.
