Creo Parametric 12.4.0.0
User Interface Location: In the Composite environment, Rosette.

Description
The limitation of placing a rosette only on the layup surface has been removed in Creo. You can now place a rosette in the same way as a coordinate system, offering greater placement flexibility.

Along with the existing Cartesian rosette, Creo now supports Radial, Cylindrical, and Spherical rosette types. When creating plies or cores, any of these rosette types can be used to define the zero-degree reference for orientation angles.

Selecting the appropriate rosette type based on the ply shape enables more accurate draping results and removes the need to create multiple Cartesian rosettes.

Benefits
This enhancement improves productivity by simplifying rosette placement and delivering better draping accuracy for complex ply shapes. Using Radial, Cylindrical, or Spherical rosette types helps achieve more reliable draping simulations while reducing setup time and rework.
