You can now take advantage of the new Merge Harness command to combine previously split harness sections back into the main harness once your design is complete. This command allows you to select any harness and merge it into the active harness.
You also have the option to move spools, referenced components, and skeletons into the active harness assembly. The merging process is done based on cable or wire names, so it’s essential to ensure consistency in naming across both parts for any newly routed wires or cables before proceeding.

Creo Parametric 10.0.0.0
User Interface Location: In the Cabling application, click Harness > Merge Harness.
Benefits:
This enhancement allows you to restructure harness parts, easily merging split harnesses back into a unified piece, making it ready for flattening and final adjustments.

Additional Information:
- Limitations: After splitting, both dependent and independent harnesses cannot be flattened as a homogenous harness with their parent harness. All harnesses must be merged back before flattening if you wish to treat them as a single piece.
- When merging an independent harness, segments are not automatically merged due to the lack of a shared split location. For now, you will need to manually merge the segments by redefining the end location of one segment and placing it at the end location of the other.
- Does this replace existing functionality?: No.
- Configuration option associated with this functionality: None.
