You can now divide surfaces in Creo Parametric. Surfaces can be split using sketches or curves, and this method supports any surface creation technique.
You can apply boundary conditions for any type of simulation.
User Interface Location: Click Model > Split > Divide Surface.

What is the benefit of this enhancement?
This enhancement is useful when you need to split geometry faces to select specific surfaces for applying boundary conditions in structural, thermal, modal, and fluid simulations in Creo Simulation Live.
Previously, dividing surfaces in Creo Parametric was not possible.
This enhancement allows more accurate application of boundary conditions and provides more realistic loads and constraints with fewer assumptions.
