Description
In Creo Parametric, a new setting is available that allows users to highlight newly introduced features, tools, or options. When this setting is enabled, new functionality is visually indicated with a small blue flag displayed on the corner of the corresponding button. Users can choose the preferred highlight style from the available dropdown menu.

To turn the setting on or off:

  1. Click the Highlight New button on the Home tab.
  2. Select or clear the Enable Highlight checkbox from the dropdown. The option is selected by default.

In the dropdown menu, click Highlight Type to select the highlight style for new features, tool, or options.

Alternatively, selecting More Settings from the dropdown opens the Creo Parametric Options dialog box. In the Windows Settings pane, under Highlight New Functionality, users can modify how new features are highlighted within the interface.

The Reset Highlights option restores all highlight settings to their default values.

This enhancement also introduces two additional options that can be accessed directly from the New dropdown menu.

  • Learn more – Opens the What’s New documentation for the tool, feature, or option marked as New.
  • Clear Highlight – Removes highlight from the tool, feature, or option.

Benefits
This enhancement helps users quickly identify user interface updates introduced since the last Creo Parametric release, improving awareness and ease of adoption of new functionality.
