In Creo, you can now measure the distance between a regular geometry and a hybrid body using the Measure tool. With the Measure > Distance command, you can select a hybrid body (such as a lattice or generative body) as a reference for the distance calculation.
The hybrid body can be used as either the “from” or “to” reference during the measurement. You can easily select the hybrid body either from the Model Tree or directly from the graphics window using the Body selection filter.

Creo Parametric 10.0.0.0
User Interface Location: Click Analysis > Measure > Distance.

Benefits:
Previously, distance calculations could not include hybrid bodies, limiting their use in fit and function analysis. With this enhancement, you can now seamlessly calculate the distance between a hybrid body and other geometries, significantly improving the usability and accuracy of your design calculations.
Additional Information:
- Limitations: There are no known limitations for this functionality.
- Does this replace existing functionality? No.
- Configuration Option: There is no specific configuration option associated with this functionality.
This new feature enhances your ability to work with complex geometries, providing more flexibility and precision in your design and analysis workflows.
