Various usability enhancements have improved interaction with the Creo UI and model tree.

Creo 11 continues the tradition of making core tools, widgets, and workflows more user-friendly. This video showcases several bundled improvements.

The rename workflow has been enhanced for better handling of naming conflicts, including:

  • Warning Message: When a newly entered name conflicts, a warning message provides details about the issue, such as duplicate names or unsupported characters.
  • Persistent Dialog Box: The rename dialog box stays open and retains the entered name, allowing for modifications.
  • Automatic Character Conversion: Spaces in newly entered names are automatically converted to underscores (“_”).

These enhancements improve the user experience when renaming items in Creo 11.
