Creo Simulation Live now supports Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT) studies, enabling you to simulate heat transfer between solids and fluids in both internal and external scenarios. Whether it’s forced flow or natural convection, this feature provides advanced capabilities for simulating heat loss into surrounding fluid bodies. A single study can accommodate multiple fluid types, provided they are separated by solid walls.

Key Enhancements:
- Automatic Contact Detection: Solid-fluid connections are automatically detected.
- FSI Tolerance: A new Fluid-Solid Interface (FSI) tolerance option improves contact detection accuracy between solids and fluids.

Creo Parametric 11.0.0.0
User Interface Location: For a fluid simulation study, select the Conjugate Heat Transfer check box from the overflow menu of the Study group on the Live Simulation tab. Live Simulation > Study > Conjugate Heat Transfer
Benefits:
- Solve complex studies with incredible speed.
- Accurately predict heat transfer behavior in combined solid and fluid flow environments.
- Leverage insights from CHT results to optimize designs efficiently.
Additional Information:
- Limitations:
- External fluid domains must consist solely of solid domains.
- Quilt-based enclosure volumes cannot be used to create external fluid domains for CHT studies.
- Does this replace existing functionality? No.
- Configuration Options: None.
