In Creo Parametric 11.0, the system now provides clearer feedback to distinguish whether your curve selection includes the composite curve object or just a segment of it. Previously, both were labeled as Curve, which could lead to confusion. This improvement is crucial because selecting the composite curve object ensures better regeneration stability during geometric changes.

With this enhancement, when a composite curve object is selected, it is now labeled as CompCrv instead of Curve. This label appears in tooltips during selection workflows, in the Pick From List dialog, and within collectors.
Before this update, there was no clear indication to differentiate between selecting a composite curve object and a curve segment. No changes have been made to workflows that do not display the Curve label.
