A new tool offset parameter has been introduced to adjust the holder position along the tool axis. The Adapter Offset option, available in the Tools Setup dialog box, supports displacing the holder position along the tool axis. This feature allows you to modify the holder-tool assembly. Additionally, the ADAPTER_OFFSET_FROM_TOOL parameter can be included in the CL file as a PPRINT statement.

User Interface Location:

1.Click Manufacturing >  Cutting Tools. The Tools Setup dialog box opens.

2.Click File > Open Tool Library > By Reference.

3.Select the tool.

4.Click the Settings tab.

Benefits:
This enhancement eliminates the need for multiple assemblies of holders and tools, while the addition of the ADAPTER_OFFSET_FROM_TOOL parameter in the CL data helps make the code clearer for programmers.
