Description
Creo Parametric introduces new APIs that allow a Creo TOOLKIT application to verify whether a specified model or a set of models is modifiable and whether any storage conflicts exist that must be resolved before saving. The new functions include:

  • ProMdlHasNoConflict()
  • ProMdlsAreModifiable()
  • ProMdlsHaveNoConflict()

These functions support workflows that previously attempted to modify read-only models. In Creo 10 and later, such modifications are prevented to align with other Creo Parametric workflows that restrict changes to read-only models.

This enhancement provides users with better awareness of which models can be modified and highlights any models that require conflict resolution before they can be saved, improving workflow efficiency and reducing potential errors in a Creo Parametric session.
