A new lattice command has been added to Creo Parametric 11, enabling you to connect two or more separate lattices into a continuous structure.

User Interface Location: Click Model > Engineering >  Lattice Connect.

Key points to consider for reference lattices:

  • Input lattices should be simplified beam lattices.
  • Input lattices can be of the same or different cell types, cell sizes, or cell orientations.
  • The initial implementation supports most regular beam lattices and stochastic Voronoi lattices, with extended support for more lattice types and use cases planned for future releases.

Benefits:

  • Greater flexibility in creating complex lattice structures.
  • Simplified workflow for generating continuous lattice structures.
  • Integrated within the familiar Lattice user interface.
