Creo Parametric 9.0 introduces a Show Stackup tool designed for visualizing and scrutinizing the precise positioning of components involved in stack-up loops. Additionally, a new repair tool has been incorporated to address issues with failed features in existing tolerance stack-ups.

The Show Stackup tool allows users to display components based on their inclusion in a stackup and reveal selected mating features. This tool facilitates the visualization of a component’s location as defined by the mating features within the stackup definition, offering a clearer understanding of stackup results.

Key functionalities of the Show Stackup tool include:

  • Toggle visibility of components not part of the stackup loop.
  • Highlight contributing mating features.
  • Opt for displaying components in the original color or as transparent within the stack-up loop for improved clarity.

This enhancement enhances the representation of the true position of mating features contributing to a stackup loop, aiding in the identification and rectification of errors in the design cycle.
