The ISO GPS standard allows for both full and simplified dimensioning schemas for hole callouts in multi-element holes, such as counterbores or threads. GD&T Advisor now supports the simplified schema for ISO models, which was already available for ASME models.

To enable combined simplified hole callouts, set the new XML tag Combined_ISO_hole_notes to YES in the GDTAAppOptions.xml file. This option allows ISO users to specify callouts for their hole features while ensuring that multiple specifications are displayed together.

Combined_ISO_hole_notes = No

Combined_ISO_hole_notes = Yes

Benefits: This enhancement improves the readability of hole callouts, reduces annotation clutter in the Model-Based Definition (MBD) model, and ensures better compliance with ISO standards.
