In Creo, the distance measurement functionality has been enhanced to include the measurement of distances between standard Creo geometry and Hybrid Bodies, which are defined as lattice or generative bodies.
The Measure tool has been updated to allow users to measure distances between regular geometry and hybrid bodies. Using the Measure > Distance command, it is now possible to select a hybrid body (either lattice or generative body) as a reference for distance calculation.

The hybrid body can serve as either the ‘from’ or ‘to’ reference point in the distance measurement process. Users have the flexibility to choose the hybrid body either from the Model Tree or directly from the graphics window using the Body selection filter.
This improvement addresses a limitation present in previous versions where including a hybrid body in distance calculations was not feasible. The enhanced functionality enables users to effortlessly calculate the distance between a hybrid body and other geometry, enhancing the usability of calculations, especially in fit and function use cases.
