Description

  • When importing data from IDX and IDF, the BOARD_SIDE parameter value—TOP or BOTTOM—is now set automatically during import. If a component’s placement reference is changed, the BOARD_SIDE value updates accordingly. For example, when a component placed on the top side of the board is moved to the bottom side, the parameter value automatically changes from TOP to BOTTOM after regeneration.
  • The BOARD_SIDE parameter is system-driven and therefore remains locked, preventing manual modification.

Benefits
This enhancement enables easier and more reliable downstream automation by clearly identifying whether components are placed on the top or bottom side of the board.
