User Interface Location:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Click Analysis > Measure > Area.
    • Click Analysis > Measure > Volume.
  2. Select the generative hybrid body.

Description
You can now measure the surface area and volume of a Generative_Hybrid body in Creo. The hybrid body is selectable just like any other body during measurement.
You can also select additional references along with a hybrid body or multiple hybrid bodies, and calculate the projected area of the body as well.
Previously, measuring the surface area and volume of a Generative_Hybrid body was not supported.

Benefits
This enhancement improves analysis capabilities for generative bodies and enables the use of analysis quantities to support better downstream design decisions.

Limitations:One-sided volume calculation of hybrid bodies is not supported.
