You can now define a Creo part as a support structure, giving you more control over how supports are created and managed.
User Interface Location: In the Model Tree, right-click the part in the tray assembly, select Set as support, and then select SolidNon-solid, or Unset.

What is the benefit of this enhancement?
With this update, support structures can be designed using all standard Creo features and then identified as supports within the tray assembly. In addition, different printing profiles can be assigned separately to the main parts and their support structures.

This capability offers complete flexibility when creating custom support structures to meet specific printing requirements.

Tips:None.
Limitations:Only regular solid parts can be defined as supports. For example, sheetmetal parts are not supported.
