Starting with Creo 7, in earlier releases it was time consuming to create the same section definition in different components that are added. In Creo Parametric 7.0 and later, user can copy hatching properties between different components or bodies to convey, for example, that they are made from the same material. Copy Hatch saves time by eliminating the need to manually match several sections to have the same hatching properties. The Copy Hatch command is available for X-Component and X-Body.
